Medicare and third-party marketing organisation rules

Where we discuss, market or assist with enrollment in a Medicare Advantage or Part D plan, we act as a third-party marketing organisation and follow the marketing and communication rules that apply to those activities. Calls relating to Medicare plan enrollment are recorded and retained for the period required, and we tell you at the start of the call.

We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE to get information on all of your options.

Employee census data

Census information supplied by an employer is used solely to obtain quotes from carriers and to model plan designs. A first-pass quote requires only age, dependent tier, home ZIP code and enrollment status, and we ask employers not to include employee names at that stage.

We do not sell census data, we do not share it with marketing firms, and we do not retain it beyond the period needed for the quote and the resulting placement.

Health information

Where we receive protected health information in connection with a group health plan, we handle it in accordance with the confidentiality obligations that apply to that information and limit access to the advisors working on your case.
